Ethan Cisneros is a dedicated and ambitious filmmaker currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television at the University of Colorado Denver. As a junior in the program, Ethan has developed a strong foundation across all areas of filmmaking, including directing, cinematography, and editing. He is eager to apply his skills in real-world projects, gain hands-on experience, and connect with others in the industry as he works toward building his career. Believing that stories can bring people together and make the world a better place, he is committed to creating films that inspire and connect with others. Ethan brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a true love for storytelling to every project, always looking for ways to learn from new experiences and the people around them.
I’ve worked as a cinematographer on two projects and directed two of my own, and I love the creative control and collaboration that comes with both roles. I’m drawn to the process of shaping a film visually and guiding a story from concept to screen. Editing is where I feel especially comfortable as I enjoy organizing footage, finding rhythm, and building a story in post. It’s where everything comes together.
I’m excited to continue learning, particularly in production design and stunt filming, because both disciplines elevate storytelling through atmosphere, movement, and physical expression, helping create more immersive and impactful films.
